ABOUT THIS VEHICLE
It is generally agreed upon that one of the most iconic eras of automotive expression and modification is the early-to-mid 1980’s. Racing teams and tuning houses from all over the world let their creativity shine, displaying machines with radical wide bodies, immense aero, and vibrant paint. This 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera was built in the early 80’s by tuning house B. Schuster Porsche-Umbauten Kfz-Service, before being imported to the United States in 1985. Prior to coming to the United States, this Guards-Red 911 was fitted with a DP935-inspired slant nose and widebody, Folger-Paderborn wing, slimline mirrors, authentic BBS Mahle wheels, and body-length, painted stripes. Finally, under the bonnet resides a strong-running and rev-happy 1974 Euro 911S engine. Upon completion, the Porsche was imported and kept in single-family ownership, until becoming available for the first time now.
A true time capsule, this 911 retains all of its 80’s glory throughout. Looking at the photo gallery, you will find photos from the original build, while still in Germany. Keen enthusiasts will note that the preservation has been wonderful and all of the unique touches have remained fitted.
Inside the cockpit are Recaro reclining seats and a Lesmo 3-spoke steering wheel. Custom Kenwood speakers, Bosch windshield antenna, and an updated Bluetooth Kenwood radio are equipped. The shifter bushings and column bushings have been replaced as well, offering exceptional feel and gear engagement.
These radical, “Radwood” machines are a huge part of automotive culture and their impact on styling is undeniable and still seen globally. Don’t miss this one!
