Presenting for the first time since completion, this 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Pick-Up has been restored thoroughly and features iconic styling with subtle, tasteful modernization. Completed in approximately 2007, this 3100 underwent an extraordinary, concours-grade restoration. 

Starting with the exterior, this 3100 has been treated to a comprehensive repaint in searing Red, complimented by vibrant brightwork. Benefiting from climate-controlled care and proper professional paintwork, the paint presents handsomely - free from swirling, chipping, or wear. Devoid of over-the-top modifications, this 3100 rides on body-color matched wheels with Jetzon tires dated coded to the time of restoration completion. The bed features a tonneau cover, which protects the finished wood bed floor that shows no wear or usage. Other than a slight adjustment in ride-height, this 3100 offers factory-style appearance with tasteful improvements.  

The driveline has been fully modernized for a more enjoyable driving experience. In place of the reliable but underpowered Thriftmaster Inline-6 cylinder engine, a GM Goodwrench 350 Crate Motor has been fitted. The 350 has been further improved with Holley Commander 950 EFI Fuel Injection, Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold, short-tube headers breathing through a Dynomax exhaust, and a GM Performance Parts Serpentine Belt Drive Package. In lieu of the original 3-speed gearbox, a Tremec 6-Speed Manual Gearbox w/ Hurst Shifter is now in its place; offering a tremendous improvement in highway cruising. Lastly, a 1989 Chevrolet Pick-Up rear end has been installed to handle the upgraded driveline. 

During the restoration process, the chassis underwent a full restoration both mechanically and cosmetically. Tubular front control arms with KYB shocks and swaybar improve road manners while the rack-and-pinion steering allows for effortless turning. The CPP Front Disc Brake System and rear drum brakes offer excellent stopping power with easy servicing. 

Lastly, the interior has been treated to the same restoration and updating as the rest of the truck - the bench seat features soft, supple leather surfaces and interior panels body-color matched. Audio has been drastically improved with Custom AutoSound MFG AM/FM/Cassette receiver playing through Roadmaster/Pioneer speakers fitted subtly in the cabin. An Abbot Cable X Electronic Speedometer unit replaces the old-style cable drive unit, while the Cold Air Products Hurricane Air Conditioning system allows for summer cruising in comfort.
