1962 Jaguar E-Type, Race, Convertible sister car of the 1964 Jaguar E-Type, was purchased from Classic Showcase in Oceanside, California. Undergoing a restoration that transformed the base E-Type into a rare Race E-Type.
With a handful of these left in the world, an article state “The E-Type was never meant to race.” Two famous drivers who raced a few of the E-Type Race were both Mike Parkes and Bruce McLaren. Beating both the Aston Martin DB4 and Ferrari 250 GTs in a 25-lap race.
