The 1966 one of the first created Sunbeam Tiger MK1A, become known as a “Tiger” with the installation of the V8 engine, who was designed by Carroll Shelby. The black exterior and red leather interior car has had only three owners, prior to joining our collection. The first known registered owner of the vehicle kept this car for almost 32 years, until he sold the car in 2004, where the car had been put into storage for almost 4 years. With a two-year restoration job after being stored away, the front and rear suspension were both rebuilt including a new steering rack, and brake systems. A decision made by pervious owner to ensure a more “powerful” car it was decided to replace the original engine of the car to a 5 bolt 289ci high performance engine, for our collection we have the original engine showcased.
